To Maya and family: I read your story today on fox news and I find your strength and will amazing. Your story touched my soul as I recently lost my wife to a brainstem tumor. Keep fighting with every ounce of strength you have. Your power comes from the love and bond of your family. You are in my prayers.

Dear Perrin-Skippen Family-

I read about your daughter and was moved by her courage and your determination to travel halfway across the planet to cure her. I hope when I have children I will have the same dedication and love that you have in such difficult circumstances. We all encounter challenges, and stories like yours are inspiring to others who also must work through tough situations.

I grew up near Houston and enjoyed reading about the thunderstorm you experienced. The storms in this part of the country are indeed enchanting in their display of lightning and in the strength that emerges from them. It's perhaps not unlike the strength residing within Maya and your family.

I hope the small donation of 50 pounds can assist with your expenses as you work to help your little girl get better.

All the very best,

S. Wise

Hi,could you put an event on your web-site? The Principal at Havering Sixth Form College, Paul Wakeling, is doing the Lyke Wake Walk next Saturday, 28th June. It's 40 miles across the Yorkshire Moors, to be completed within 24 hours. He's asked all his friends and colleagues to sponsor him by giving them the link to this web-site and asking them to donate online. Thank you!

Hi everyone just a quick message before I go to bed.
Maya began treatment today she is beginning oraly as the doctor feels that this will be the best way to start.
They have left the option open of intrevenal treatment if the oral medication dosent have an effect.
I cannot hankyou all enough to get Maya to America and without all your help this wouldnt have been possible.
I hope that we can return to England with good news which I am sure will make everyone so proud that they had a part to play.
Sorr that I cannot reply to you all individually no matter how hard I try to there is so many of you who helped Maya.
If the doctors see a response at the next scan in one month we can return to England for a while and have treatment administered by a private doctor in England.
We would need to return to Houston every so often so that Burzynski can check on Maya himself.
Slowly getting used to life in Houston. It was difficult at first as any change of enviroment takes time to get used to but now we dont mind it at all especially the weather.
There were thunderstorms and lightning today though like I have never seen before I took a few pics and video footage of it to show you all.

Thankyou

Steven,Tasha,Maya and Bailey

PS-Mark the website master Would it be possible to get the updates on Maya section updated and pssibly get a few pictures of Maya in Houston on the page.I can email you them just let me know.

Hi everyone so sorry I hvent replied for a couple of days.
Things have been quite hectic.
Maya is finally out of hospital and finished antibiotics on Friday.
Natasha is giving them to Maya at the moment through her central line.
The Burzynski clinic are confident of getting a result from there treatment and Maya will begin the treatment today.
We have got used to Houston and in some ways quite like the place even though its all medical we still have the odd moment to go and see Houston which I really like.
We went to a football(soccer game on Sunday Mexico vs Belize which was fun but Maya left at half time as we didnt want her out to long as it was just a day after she was out of hospital.
Sorry I havent replied to you all individually but we have been in different hospitals pretty much most of the time.
Hope to see you all soon mayabe another month or two
