Hi everyone sorry havent posted for a while but wrote a long message the other day and it didnt register. Maya is well and the tumor hasnt grown for about 6 months. We always worry as her tumor is part of the Glioma family which offically can not be cured. The clinic in America have given us faith though and tell us that they think they can cure it. I am not sure how long Maya will be on treatment as it still hasnt got smaller and the doctors in America would like to see it get smaller before they would even contemplate taking her off the medication. We really appreciate the people who continue to ask how Maya is even though it has been so long since the appeal started. For you to still have an interest in our family is amazing when we woukld of expected everyone to of forgot about us considering the mess the world is in at the moment. We will soon have to go to America again and we are awaiting confirmation of when that will be. Maya was on TV today on GMTV and London Tonight as she was the child who helped Make a Wish celebrate there anniversary. Maya is also on most fairy liquid bottles at the moment as she is the child they used to promote this anniversary. Thankyou to Make A wish who helped us and Maya feel so good when the made her a princess for the day.It is good to know that some charities stick to what a charity should be which is brightning sick peoples lives. Thankyou everyone I will keep you informed of how Maya is and hopefully she will pull through this.

Hi everyone great news from the last scan the tumour now stable for the last five months. Great Ormand Street say that it is stable due to Chemotheraphy administered 7 months ago. I find this ridiculous. Mayas tumor is stable due to the medication she is on from America as the Chemo would have been washed out of her system after one month.Every time she had chemo in the past the tumor grew back within two months. It has now been five months. In tommorows Romford Recorder there should be an article highlighting the case of Maya being refused simple care such as scans and blood tests at great Ormand Street and the advice that the local authority should also not care for her. Treatment is now at £7,000 per month and looking at the large picture I think next year we might need to fundraise again. Thankyou all so much to the people who have continued to keep in contact and give there best wishes to my daughter. Hi Carolle havent been to ice hockey yet havent been in the mood with all thats going on just want to spend it with the family whenever I am free. Havent felt good myself and Natasha and me are really feeling the pressure at the moment from the last three years of stress. We are a strong family and one way otr another we will get through this.
All the best to you all

Hi Steve, I am sorry to hear that you are still waiting for the scan results. At least they did the scan though. Did you go to GOSH personally to demand the scans? This is just so bad the NHS denying her care when she needs it the most. Keeping my fingers crosssed for you and Maya xxx Stana and Jessie Magnus
